For those of you who have not yet noticed, I have added a new logo to the site. I’m expecting it to be part of the blog’s brand identity through at least this time next year.
I have also changed themes. While Atahualpa served us well for the past few years, it was starting to get a bit dated and had bugs in it I was never able to figure out. The new theme is WR-Elite, and so far it does most of what I want. There are a couple of minor issues with the layout, particularly with the date and post titles.
I may change themes a couple more times before the end of the year. I am considering the idea of building another theme from scratch (like I did with Quinn’s Big City), though at the moment this is nowhere near likely. I make any changes like this with the goal of making the blog’s appearance the best it can be. Hopefully I have at least made a step in the right direction.
Feedback on the changes is appreciated: love them, hate them, wish rotten tomatoes could be sent through my screen via HTTP, etc.
